Hawai‘i CC – Palamanui offering Saturday class ‘In the Footsteps of Kamehameha’
 
Class will explore cultural sites in West Hawai‘i and traditions connected to King Kamehameha
 
Explore Hawaiian cultural sites in West Hawai‘i and discover cultural traditions connected to King Kamehameha.  Hawai‘i Community College - Palamanui is offering the course HWST 219 – Piko Hawai‘i II with Professor E. Kalani Flores.
 
This course is scheduled for eight Saturdays (Aug 31; Sep 14, 28; Oct 5, 19, 26; Nov 9, 16) from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Activities include moderate hiking. Students can earn three college credits or audit the class.
 
Also, consider applying for many of the other courses being offered at Hawai‘i Community College. Apply by August 1 to enroll for the upcoming Fall semester.
