Join us for July AfterHours at Big Island Bees in Captain Cook. Sample pure and organic honey and check out our demonstration hives. Tours are available for anyone interested in going back in time when visiting our museum on how we came to bee. Snack on delectable pupus and enjoy refreshing libations from Big Island Brewhaus – our honey is used in their tasty beer!

ABOUT BIG ISLAND BEES:
Our family has been producing honey on the Big Island since 1972, selling only honey made by our own bees. You'll find our honeys have a more intense flavor profile than conventional honey, because they are produced from a single floral source and aren't heated or filtered. And because we raise our bees organically, and never feed them artificial sweeteners, our bees produce better quality honey.
Join our beekeeper for a fun and educational exploration about bees,
beekeeping, and honey, where from behind a safe, screened viewing area, you can view an open beehive demonstration with our bees. Explore actual hives and learn where the queen resides, how the hive is organized, and what makes bees so special and interesting.
