WHMC will kick off its "Our Stories" speaker series Friday, Oct. 19, 2018 with Randall Roth, JD, LLM. The West Hawaii Mediation Center's "Our Stories" series will focus on "local conversation in conflict resolution." Mr. Roth, co-author of the bestselling book Broken Trust: Greed, Mismanagement & Political Manipulation at America's Largest Charitable Trust, will describe and make sense of the controversy that surrounded the Trustees of the Bishop Estate in the late 1990s, and how he sees those events in relation to corruption in Hawaii today.
