Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union (HCFCU) is looking for qualified candidates to fill the open Compliance position at our Kaloko Administrative Facility.
Under the supervision of the Compliance Officer, the Compliance Department provides administrative support for all activities associated with the Credit Union’s Compliance program. Carries out compliance-related functions to meet the rules and regulations according to the Bank Secrecy Act(BSA), Patriot Act, the Office of Foreign Assets Control(OFAC), and Financial Crimes Enforcement Network(FinCEN).
Assists with Verafin alerts and takes actions accordingly.
Evaluates, acknowledges, and escalates more complex alerts to a case.
Assists in the coordination of compliance audits and exams.
Prepares and submits daily and weekly Currency Transaction Reports (CTR's).
Reviews daily and weekly BSA reports and takes action on follow up items.
Regularly review laws and regulations that impact the Credit Union's compliance requirements.
In coordination with the Compliance Officer prepares and submits SAR's to FinCEN.
Assist the Compliance Officer with the implementation of the Credit Union's policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Assists with the revision and/or design of forms, products, website, programs, or promotions to ensure compliance with all State and Federal rules and regulations.
Assists Federal examiners and provides information that is necessary for them to complete the examination.
We have one opening that can be filled by a qualified candidate for either a Specialist I position, Specialist II, or Coordinator position; depending on experience. Salary starts at $41,000 for the Specialist I position.
