Kona Hospital Foundation Golf Tournament Set for June 22, 2025
Kailua-Kona, HI — The Kona Hospital Foundation invites the community to hit the green for a great cause at its upcoming Golf Tournament, taking place Saturday, June 22, 2025, at Kona Country Club.The day kicks off with registration at 7:00 AM and a shotgun start at 8:00 AM. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome to join in the fun, with all proceeds directly supporting healthcare improvements at Kona Community Hospital.
A highlight of the event is the exciting Helicopter Ball Drop, generously sponsored by Vertical W̲orx. Participants can purchase golf balls for just $10 each or 3 for $25, and from high above the course, a helicopter will drop all purchased balls toward a hole —12 closest balls to the hole wins a prize! Participation in the tournament is not required and you do not have to be present to join the ball drop.
This year’s tournament is proudly supported by Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union and Diagnostic Laboratory Services, among other valued sponsors.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available, ranging from $250 to $5,000, and include valuable recognition and perks. The Foundation is also seeking prize donations for winners of the golf tournament and ball drop—everything from gift certificates to local experiences are welcome.
