NETWORKING—New Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce (KKCC) members have the opportunity to introduce themselves at monthly AfterHours events by taking the stage and sharing information about their business. Three new members took the mike at the January pau hana:
A native of Missouri, Laura Roberts of Dread Pirate Pottery has a bachelor’s degree in fine art focusing on ceramics and sculpture. Her favorite mediums are clay and metal, or a combination of the two. In business for seven years, her works are inspired by cultural and natural resources. See her art displayed at the monthly Kokua Kailua Village Stroll, the Kings’ Shops market and the first Saturday of the month at Parker Ranch Center. Matthew Ray of Paradise Automotive Inc. is located below Costco on Maiau Street. He offers a full-service maintenance and repair shop that is ASE certified.
