Virtual Workshop Series Disaster Preparedness

In Hawaiʻi, where natural disasters like hurricanes, wildfires, and volcanic activity are real risks, preparedness isn’t optional — it’s essential.
That’s why Vibrant Hawaiʻi, in partnership with Hawaiʻi County Civil Defense, is offering a free virtual workshop series designed to equip residents with the tools and knowledge needed to protect themselves, their families, and their communities.
Each session is led by local experts and community leaders and tailored to meet the needs of different household members — from children to individuals with disabilities to pets and animals. These workshops are more than information-sharing; they’re about building resilience, reducing risk, and uplifting communities.
Workshop Schedule:
• June 17 – General Disaster Preparedness
• June 24 – Preparedness for Children
• July 1 – Preparedness for Pets and Animals
• July 8 – Preparedness for People with Disabilities
All sessions: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM HST
